To navigate as a community a rapidly changing and uncertain world together, find focus, inspiration, energy and good health
The Academy is the culmination of the last 30 years of my movement explorations across many different fields: Dance, Yoga, Self-Help, Coaching, Fitness, and Personal Development - the last five of which I've spent helping women with their pelvic floor function.
Having been through my own share of traumatic experiences, towards a journey of healing and education. Learning to navigate my way using the skills and techniques I share in the academy.
The key to resilience and robust humans is to get out of survival mode and thrive. Slow movement with attention to what you are doing, (somatic movement) is the key to the drivers' seat, your nervous system. Which many courses and programs don't address.
Movement experiences in line with new scientific understanding about stretching, the brain and how pain works. Discover the reason why Neuroplasticity Science are exploring this method in great detail.
I believe that our body contains the artistry, strength and resilience that we feel called to rediscover, I’m honoured to guide people towards accessing their inner intelligence.
Most weeks: Fireside chats with guest experts.
Each month: We have a Masterclass with guest experts.
"Before coming to classes with Angela I was struggling with a stressful life feeling lethargic. My back, neck and shoulders were sore. I’m 62years old working many hours a week had a difficulty sleeping. After the first class my sleep pattern had improved and I slept sound for the first time in ages. I definitely feel the class has made a huge difference in my outlet and my body." Sharon Quin
"I very much enjoyed the workshop, having not tried it before and coming from a Yoga background, I found the attention on subtle movement meditative. Angela’s clear, articulate and well paced guidance was a highlight. During the sessions I became more aware of the movement patterns I adopt on a daily basis that are causing some tightness and imbalance in my body. I’ve applied some of the sitting techniques to re-balance while at the office, I’ll be back for another class soon!" Sharon Abbott
